Job summary

BAM UK & Ireland is recruiting a Rail Systems Lead Design Manager to join the HS2 Track infrastructure project. Based in London, Euston, or Birmingham, Snow Hill, you will coordinate rail systems interfaces, manage multidisciplinary design partners, and drive design coordination across the alliance.

You will lead design governance, technical assurance, and Health and Safety in Design, chair coordination meetings, resolve interface clashes, and ensure delivery aligns with client requirements,

Qualifications

• Experience in rail systems design and integration.
• Experience in alliance delivery environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate interfaces between Track systems, Main Works Contractors, Design Partners and Alliance members.
• Lead spatial coordination of rail systems designs and chair coordination meetings.
• Coordinate technical assurance activities and ensure designs are reviewed and validated per governance.
• Promote Health and Safety in Design and ensure CDM processes are followed.
• Manage design clashes and interface issues to support efficient delivery.
