Job summary

Ferrovial BAM Joint Venture is recruiting a Rail Systems Lead Design Manager to join the HS2 Track infrastructure project at the initial design phase. The role focuses on systems integration, design management and interface coordination across alliance partners to deliver on cost and schedule.

You will lead spatial coordination, governance activities and design assurance, chair coordination meetings, and ensure HSE in design across multidisciplinary teams within a collaborative alliance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or working towards chartership
• Experience in rail systems design and integration
• Experience in large-scale rail infrastructure programmes
• Experience managing external design teams

Responsibilities

• Coordinate interfaces between Track systems and partners
• Lead spatial coordination across disciplines
• Chair design coordination meetings and reviews
• Monitor design progress and governance compliance
• Ensure health and safety in design across projects
• Provide technical leadership on design coordination
