BAM UK & Ireland is recruiting a Rail Systems Lead Design Manager to join the HS2 track infrastructure design phase. The role focuses on coordinating interfaces across track systems, design partners, and alliance members to ensure timely, safe delivery.

You will lead multidisciplinary design coordination, chair coordination meetings, manage design risks, and ensure compliance with client requirements and standards across the project lifecycle.

Formación

• Extensive experience in rail systems design, integration and coordination.
• Experience in contractor-led or alliance delivery environments.
• Experience with large-scale rail infrastructure programs.
• Ability to lead cross-functional design coordination and stakeholder management.
• Strong understanding of design management, safety assurance and CDM processes.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate interfaces between track systems, contractors and design partners.
• Lead spatial coordination of rail systems designs and resolve design clashes.
• Chair design coordination meetings and reviews with stakeholders.
• Monitor design progress and compliance with client requirements and standards.
• Support health and safety in design and safety approvals throughout the project lifecycle.
