Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead multi-disciplinary rail stations projects across the UK, including major clients such as Network Rail and HS2. You will manage technical delivery, mentor engineers and ensure compliance with CDM and safety standards.

You will operate from our city centre offices (Manchester, Birmingham or London) and coordinate with clients, stakeholders and delivery teams to drive design excellence from concept through to construction.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary design teams.
• Experience in client-facing environments and relationship management.
• Strong understanding of CDM and health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct and coordinate technical aspects of multi-disciplinary station design projects.
• Manage client and stakeholder relationships to achieve project outcomes.
• Promote safety culture and ensure compliance with health and welfare standards on projects.
• Represent WSP and lead design coordination activities (IDR/IDC).
• Undertake the CEM role per NR/L2/INI/02009.
• Support Project and Design Managers in technical delivery of rail projects.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to aspiring engineering managers.
