Job summary

WSP Rail Stations is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the technical delivery of a diverse portfolio of station projects across the UK. You will steer multi-disciplinary design teams, manage client and stakeholder expectations, and ensure compliance with CDM and health & safety standards on every project.

Based in London or other major offices, this role offers hybrid working and opportunities to influence prestigious rail schemes with direct impact on safety, quality and program delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in multi-disciplinary delivery with client relationships.
• Chartered Engineer or equivalent professional status.
• Experience in client-facing environments.
• Ability to apply innovative engineering to progress contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate technical aspects of multi-disciplinary station design projects.
• Manage client and stakeholder relationships to achieve outcomes.
• Apply CDM and health and safety regs, promoting safety culture.
• Represent WSP and lead design coordination activities (IDR/IDC).
• Undertake the CEM role per NR/L2/INI/02009.
• Support Project and Design Managers in technical delivery and provide mentorship.
