Job summary

Arriva Road Transport Services (ARTS) is seeking a Service Planning Coordinator in Derby with hybrid working options. You will plan, process and allocate rail replacement and train crew taxi services across the UK, ensuring compliant, cost-effective transport and high-quality passenger solutions.

You will collaborate with TOCs and suppliers, manage post-operation reviews, and drive continuous improvements while coordinating invoicing and supplier performance for timely payments.

Responsibilities

• Process rail replacement and train crew taxi orders to standards.
• Allocate transport to suppliers at competitive rates with quality/safety focus.
• Ensure compliance with UK/EU driving regulations and procedures.
• Liaise with TOCs to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Coordinate taxi, minibus, coach and bus operators for reliable service.
• Produce plans, briefings, and documentation for stakeholders.
• Monitor performance and investigate delivery issues.
• Resolve post-operation queries and identify improvements.
• Review invoices and records for accurate payments and billing.
• Maintain supplier databases and build strong supplier relationships.
• Analyse data to support efficiency and service optimisation.
• Attend meetings with customers and suppliers as required.
• Support identification of new business opportunities for ARTS.
