Job summary

Arriva Road Transport Services (ARTS) is seeking a Service Planning Coordinator based in Derby with hybrid working options. The role focuses on planning rail replacement and train crew taxi services across the UK, ensuring compliant, cost-effective transport arrangements and strong customer service.

The successful candidate will manage post-operation reviews, supplier performance, and invoicing accuracy while collaborating with TOCs, suppliers and internal stakeholders to optimise service

Responsibilities

• Process rail replacement and train crew taxi orders efficiently.
• Allocate transport requirements to approved suppliers at competitive rates.
• Ensure compliance with UK and EU driving regulations and procedures.
• Liaise with TOCs and transport operators to deliver solutions.
• Produce plans, briefings and documentation for stakeholders.
• Monitor performance and resolve service failures or issues.
• Review invoices and support accurate payments and billing.
• Maintain supplier databases and build strong relationships.
• Analyze data to drive efficiency and service optimisation.
• Attend meetings with customers and suppliers as required.
