Job summary

Arriva Road Transport Services (ARTS) in Derby with hybrid working options is seeking a Service Planning Coordinator to plan, process, and allocate rail replacement and train crew taxi services across the UK, ensuring safe, compliant, and cost-effective transport solutions while maintaining high customer service standards.

Reporting to the Pre-Planned Operations Manager, you will liaise with TOCs and suppliers, manage post-operation reviews, resolve issues, and support accurate invoicing for

Responsibilities

• Process rail replacement and train crew taxi orders efficiently.
• Allocate transport requirements to suppliers at competitive rates.
• Ensure compliance with UK/EU driving regulations and company procedures.
• Collaborate with TOCs, transport suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate taxi, minibus, coach, and bus operators to deliver transport services.
• Produce operational plans, briefings, and documentation for stakeholders.
• Monitor service delivery and investigate issues.
• Review supplier invoices and support accurate payments.
• Maintain supplier databases and relationships.
• Analyse data to drive efficiency and service optimisation.
• Attend meetings with customers and suppliers as required.
