Job summary

University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust is recruiting a part-time receptionist to join the Radiology Department. You will be the first point of contact for patients and staff, handling face-to-face and telephone queries with excellent communication.

You will register patients on the RIS system and support a range of administrative tasks. The role requires good IT skills (Outlook, Word, Excel), accuracy in data input, and flexibility to cover shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• RSA/OCR II or equivalent typing/word processing and Level 2 literacy/numeracy.
• Experience in customer-facing role in a busy administrative environment.
• Knowledge of IT systems used in NHS or Trust operations is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for patients and visitors with routine enquiries.
• Book in patients for their appointments.
• Process referrals in line with department guidelines.
• Maintain efficient administrative service including photocopying and support for the team.
