Job summary

Wye Valley NHS Trust in Hereford is seeking a part-time Radiology Administration Clerk to provide a high-quality service for patients referred to the Radiology Department. The role requires flexibility with shifts, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays on a 365-day basis across two sites.

You will register attendances, manage appointments on CRIS, and support the Admin Manager with office protocols while handling diverse clerical tasks to ensure smooth patient flow.

Qualifications

• Good general education with basic computer skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly by phone and in person.
• Experience in clerical/admin roles and customer service.
• Familiar with hospital IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide reception cover across both sites as required.
• Register patient attendances and appointments on CRIS and other IT systems.
• Assist Radiology Admin Manager with office protocols and guidelines.
• Undertake clerical duties to progress results and patients through the department.
