Job summary

East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust is recruiting a Radiology A&C Receptionist to provide a comprehensive reception and clerical service for patients. The role focuses on patient confidentiality, accurate data entry in CERNER/CRIS, and ensuring a high standard of customer care in a busy radiology environment.

The post requires flexibility to work across sites, with a 37.5 hour week, Monday–Friday, on the Burnley site. DBS checks apply as part of recruitment.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above.
• Knowledge of CERNER and/or CRIS.
• Extensive clerical experience in a customer facing role.
• Able to keep information confidential.

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact for patients, visitors and staff in Radiology.
• Register patient details onto CERNER/CRIS at point of contact.
• Identify overseas visitors and patients liable to pay for treatment.
• Update RIS with arrival of patients and add them to diary slots.
