Job summary

The Royal Oldham Hospital-based Radiology Department is seeking a full-time Band 2 Receptionist to join our busy team. You will greet patients, handle referrals on CRIS, manage telephone inquiries, scanning, filing, emailing and photocopying, and provide clerical support with accuracy and a friendly manner.

The role involves working 37.5 hours across 08:00-20:00, Monday to Friday, with some weekend work and occasional shifts at other sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in reception/clerical work is desirable.
• Excellent communication and computer skills are essential.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide reception/clerical support in the Radiology Department.
• Attend patients and manage referrals on the CRIS system.
• Handle telephone enquiries, scanning, filing, emailing and photocopying.
• Ensure a friendly, efficient service and a positive patient experience.
