Job summary

Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a proactive Band 2 Receptionist to join the Radiology Department at The Royal Oldham Hospital with occasional cover at Fairfield General Hospital and Rochdale Infirmary. The role is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, working 08:00–20:00 on weekdays with some weekend work.

Training will be provided for radiology systems and processes. The successful candidate will provide front-line reception and clerical support, manage referrals on CRIS,

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and computer skills are essential.
• Good keyboard skills are essential.
• Must be able to work on own and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience with CRIS or radiology systems is advantageous but full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide reception/clerical support within the Radiology Department.
• Attend patients and process referrals on the CRIS system from GP and Out-Patient requesting scans; handle telephone enquiries, scanning, filing, emailing and photocopying.
• Maintain high-quality customer service as the first point of contact for patients and visitors.
• You may be required to work across multiple sites with short notice.
