Job summary

Saab UK is seeking a UK-based Radar Instructor to support our sensor systems portfolio, delivering operator and maintainer training at Fareham and other sites. You will develop training materials and support publications while collaborating with customers and Saab colleagues.

The role requires travel across the UK and internationally, a UK driving licence, and security vetting to SC level. You will apply diverse training methods to ensure high-quality outcomes and contribute to demonstrations,

Qualifications

• ONC/HNC level in a technical area.
• Previous military experience or exposure.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to travel within UK and globally.
• UK citizenship or eligibility for security vetting.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver operator and maintainer courses on sensor systems.
• Administer and report on training events as required.
• Operate and fault-find on customer sensor systems to aid training.
• Solicit, compile, analyse and respond to student feedback.
• Provide SME input on system and software development.
• Contribute to sensor technical publications.
• Support demonstrations, trials, exercises and market growth activities.
