Job summary

Saab UK is seeking a UK-based Radar Instructor to support the Sensor Systems UK Integrated Logistic Support Training team. You will plan and deliver operator and maintainer courses on sensor systems, administer training events, and fault-find on customer systems to enhance training.

You will also compile feedback and contribute to technical publications and demonstrations. The role requires travel within the UK and globally, a full UK driving licence, and National Security Vetting clearance up

Qualifications

Experience with radar, communications or electronic systems.
Teaching or instructional experience.
Customer-facing technical experience demonstrating problem-solving and leadership under pressure.
Willing to travel within UK and globally; UK driving licence.
Security clearance requirements: UK/Sweden citizenship and SC vetting.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver operator and maintainer courses on a variety of sensor systems.
Administration and reporting of training events.
Operate and fault-find on customer sensor systems to enhance training.
Solicit, compile, analyse and react to student feedback.
Offer subject matter expert advice on system and software development.
Provide support to demonstrations, trials, exercises and market growth activities.
