Job summary

Fareham Introduction Saab UK seeks a Radar Instructor to support the Sensor Systems UK Integrated Logistic Support Training team. Plan and deliver operator and maintainer courses on sensor systems, develop training materials and assist in technical publications.

You will train across Saab's UK portfolio, collaborate with UK/Swedish colleagues, and travel to customer sites as needed. Security clearance and technical radar background are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with radar, communications or electronic systems is required.
• Teaching or instructional experience is essential.
• Experience in a technical customer-facing environment demonstrating problem-solving and leadership.
• UK driving licence is required.
• Willingness to travel within UK and globally (up to 3 weeks per event).
• National Security Vetting clearance required to SC level, or ability to gain it.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver operator and maintainer courses on sensor systems.
• Administer and report training events as required.
• Operate and fault-find on customer sensor systems to enhance training.
• Gather and respond to student feedback with internal and external teams.
• Provide SME input into sensor publications and demonstrations.
