Job summary

Saab UK is seeking a Radar Instructor based in Fareham to plan and deliver operator and maintainer courses on sensor systems, work with UK and Swedish colleagues, and support training across sites and at client locations.

You will develop educational materials, compile technical publications, and provide feedback for demonstrations, trials, and market growth; travel within the UK and globally will be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in radar, communications or electronic systems.
• Teaching or instructional experience.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to travel within UK and globally (up to 3 weeks per training event).
• National Security Vetting clearance to SC level or ability to gain it.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver operator and maintainer courses for sensor systems.
• Administer and report training events as required.
• Operate and fault-find on customer sensor systems to enhance training.
• Solicit and analyze student feedback; act on it.
• Provide SME input on sensor hardware/software development.
• Support demonstrations, trials, exercises and market growth activities.
