Job summary

Saab UK is seeking a UK-based Radar Instructor to support operator and maintenance training for sensor systems at sites in Fareham, UK, and Gothenburg, Sweden, as well as at customer locations worldwide. The role involves developing educational materials, delivering courses, and contributing to technical publications.

Qualifications

• Experience of radar, communications or sophisticated electronic systems.
• Teaching or instructional experience.
• Willingness to travel within UK and globally; up to 3 weeks per training event.
• National Security Vetting clearance to SC level, or ability to gain it.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver both operator and maintainer courses on a variety of sensor systems.
• Administration and reporting of training events as required.
• Operate and fault-find on customer sensor systems to enhance training.
• Solicit, compile, analyse and react to student feedback; provide SME input into publications.
