Job summary

Fareham Introduction Saab UK is seeking a UK-based Radar Instructor to support our sensor systems operations. The role involves planning and delivering operator and maintainer courses, admin of training events, and fault-finding on customer sensor systems, with travel across the UK and globally.

The candidate should have radar or electronic systems experience, teaching background, and the ability to work in a high-pressure environment while maintaining integrity and customer focus.

Qualifications

• Experience with radar, communications or sophisticated electronic systems.
• Teaching or instructional experience.
• Previous experience in a technical customer-facing environment, demonstrating problem-solving and leadership in a high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver operator and maintainer courses on a variety of sensor systems.
• Administration and reporting of training events as required.
• Operate and fault-find on customer sensor systems to enhance training.
• Solicit, compile, analyse and react to student feedback, internally and externally.
• Offer subject matter expert advice on system and software development.
• Provide feedback and input into sensor technical publications.
• Provide support to demonstrations, trials, exercises and other company market growth activities.
