Job summary

A well-established Regional Main Contractor is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Oxford. You will manage high-end residential projects, overseeing new builds and refurbishments. Candidates should have a degree and a minimum of 5 years' experience with a Main Contractor, along with strong commercial skills and the ability to work independently. A UK driver's license is required, and commuting to Oxford on a daily basis is expected.

A well-established Regional Main Contractor have a great opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join them on a permanent basis, based from their offices in Oxford.

The company have been around for over half a century, carrying out a range of building, restoration and refurbishment projects throughout the Oxfordshire area.

They work in both the private and public sectors, carrying out new build projects as well as restoring heritage and listed buildings, along with refurbishments, alterations and extensions. Their project portfolio includes private houses, churches, schools and colleges, health and community centres, residential developments and care homes, between £500k and £7m.

Due to an increasing workload, they are looking to bring in an experienced Quantity Surveyor to initially work on high end residential new build, refurbishment, alteration and extension projects, circa £2m in value. They are looking for somebody with excellent all round commercial skills that can work autonomously on multiple projects. This is a great opportunity to join a great company and work on some luxury projects.

Experience:

• Ideally Degree Qualified
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience working for a reputable Main Contractor
• Able to work autonomously on multiple projects
• Ideally new build and refurbishment experience
• Ideally have a track record working on projects in the high end residential sector
• Full UK Drivers’ license
• Able to commute to Oxford on a daily basis
