Construction Manager – Gas Infrastructure Projects

Location: South Wales

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee a critical national gas infrastructure project, with particular focus on AGI/PRS upgrades. This is a high‑profile role requiring strong project management skills in the gas infrastructure sector.

Civil Engineer – Project Invictus (Tata Steel)

Location: Tata Steel, Port Talbot, SA13 2NG (X4 days site based & X1 day remote)

Shift Patterns: Mon‑Fri, 08:00‑16:15 Mon‑Thu, 08:00‑15:15 Fri. Weekend working (one weekend a month) will be compulsory; overtime provided or can be swapped for a weekday.

Start: ASAP (within one month pending medical assessment)

Role Summary: The successful applicant will be someone with substantial experience within construction, heavy industry and/or power, supporting civil engineering on Project Invictus. Responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing inspection reports raised by the asset inspection team on civil/structural engineering assets
  • Developing a process for the delivery of the reduction of inspection reports
  • Analyzing and interpreting information from the electronic system
  • Liaising with relevant departments to obtain information for pre‑engineering functions

Qualifications:

  • Time served apprenticeship in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Proven experience within a large construction, industrial or power site
  • Driving licence and access to own vehicle
  • Strong UK Health & Safety knowledge in a high‑risk environment
  • Large capital project experience
  • Degree/HNC/HND in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Black CSCS card
