Job summary

A leading consultancy in construction is looking for a Clerk Of Works (Quality Technical Inspector) to perform inspections across various sectors including education and health. The ideal candidate will have MCIOB or MICWCI accreditation and be skilled in liaising with contractors and preparing reports. The position is based near London Bridge, with project values ranging from £6m to £300m. A full driving license is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in quality inspections of construction projects.
• In-depth knowledge of education, commercial, health, and other relevant sectors.
• Experience collaborating with contractors on site.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections to monitor construction progress and quality.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation on inspection findings.
• Coordinate with main contractors’ site teams for quality management.

Skills

Knowledge of various forms of construction

Experience in new-build and refurbishment

Ability to undertake inspections

Liaising with building contractors

Report writing and technical documentation

Education

MCIOB or MICWCI qualification/accreditation
