Responsibilities

• Ensure incidents are dealt with efficiently, politely, and confidentially, or passed to the relevant colleague for action.
• Prioritise and manage own workload and support colleagues who need training, guidance and assistance.
• Securely maintain the personnel records of the Quality & Clinical Governance team per confidentiality policy and data protection act.
• Participate in investigations of internal or external incidents relating to CSH Surrey under the PSIRF policy and plan.
• Provide, investigate and analyse complex statistical and audit information for Quality & Clinical Governance team members.
• Liaise with multiple professionals to plan and coordinate quality improvement projects; conduct regular audits and develop reports/databases.
• Lead the development and implementation of a standardised filing process for reports and data maintenance, ensuring secure storage per governance policy.
• Lead maintenance of the patient safety/PSIRF policy and plan pages on the website and Blink.
• Maintain a log of incidents passed to operational teams for investigations.
• Maintain a knowledge base of services and activities related to quality improvement.
• Provide cover for administration tasks for Patient Experience Team and the Senior Administrator.
• Have detailed knowledge of services across CSH Surrey.
• Deputise for the Improvement and Safety Manager in their absence.
• Provide proactive administrative and coordination support to two Operational Leads, including diary/meeting coordination; papers; action tracking; follow-up; and maintenance of key records and work plans.
