Qualifications

  • Substantial experience in a Sustainability/Environmental role at manager level.
  • Extensive knowledge of the UK Construction industry.
  • Proficiency in carbon reporting (Scopes 1, 2 & 3).
  • BREEAM Assessor accreditation.

Job description
Overview

In this challenging role you will lead and manage the Environment and Sustainability Team for Bouygues UK. The role will involve managing the Environmental and Energy Management Systems and ensuring compliance across all projects. Your responsibilities will include the management and reporting of carbon for the business and collaborating with key stakeholders to influence design and build processes to meet sustainability standards.

Qualifications
  • Substantial experience in a Sustainability/ Environmental role, at manager level
  • Extensive knowledge of the UK Construction industry
  • Working knowledge of building regulations, the design and build process, especially in relation to sustainability issues
  • Thorough knowledge of ISO14001 & ISO50001
  • Proficiency in LCA software (e.g., Oneclick LCA)
  • Expert knowledge and hands‑on experience with carbon reporting (Scopes 1, 2 & 3)
Additional Requirements
  • BREEAM Assessor accreditation
  • Working knowledge of other sustainability certification systems
  • Knowledge of EU Regulations (i.e., CSRD and EU Taxonomy)
