The Opportunity

As a Quality Control Engineer, you'll be at the heart of the operation, ensuring that every product meets the highest standards of performance, durability, and sustainability. You'll work closely with production, R&D, and process teams to identify opportunities, solve problems, and continuously raise the bar for quality excellence.

What You'll Do
  • Lead in-process and final product inspections to ensure every item meets strict quality and customer requirements.
  • Develop and refine inspection and testing procedures, driving consistency and efficiency.
  • Partner with production teams to resolve quality issues quickly and effectively.
  • Take ownership of root cause analysis and lead CAPA (Corrective & Preventive Action) activities.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and lead continuous improvement projects to reduce waste and enhance quality.
  • Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to ensure accurate, reliable results.
  • Support internal and external quality audits (ISO 9001 and customer audits).
  • Collaborate across departments to embed quality in every new product and process.
  • Keep detailed, accurate, and transparent quality documentation.
What You'll Bring
  • Experience in a Quality Control, Quality Engineer, or Quality Technician role within a manufacturing environment (plastics, injection moulding, extrusion, or similar).
  • Hands‑on knowledge of inspection and measurement techniques, and strong analytical skills using tools such as 8D, 5 Whys, and Ishikawa.
  • A solid understanding of ISO 9001 and quality management systems.
  • Confident working with data and proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • A proactive mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for problem‑solving.
  • The ability to thrive both independently and in a collaborative, cross‑functional environment.
What's in It for You
  • Genuine career progression – be part of a company that invests in your growth and offers clear development pathways.
  • Professional training and mentoring to support your long‑term success.
  • Competitive salary based on experience, plus company pension and benefits.
  • The chance to work in a sustainable, innovative manufacturing environment where your ideas are valued.
  • A supportive, inclusive culture where teamwork and continuous improvement are part of the DNA.
