A leading apparel retailer is seeking a Quality Control Supervisor to manage quality for 'own brand' products. You will lead a QC team, ensure standards are met, and collaborate with multiple departments. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of QC experience in the apparel industry and a strong knowledge of AQL. This role is based in Greater Manchester, requiring attendance at the office and warehouse.
We are looking for an established, highly motivated and passionate apparel Quality Control Supervisor to join our in-house “Own Brand” Design Centre team at Footasylum. You will control the quality of all ‘own brand‘ products in line with the approved standards across men’s, women’s, kid’s and accessories. This role gives a great opportunity to the right candidate to work on Footasylum’s “own brands” such as Zavetti Canada, KWD, Alessandro Zavetti and many more. The role will be split location between our off site warehouse and our Head office in Rochdale.
We are a rapidly growing team of diverse talented individuals with a passion for all things fashion. Our aim is to help create an environment where you can achieve, progress and develop. You will be supported in your journey, and we will celebrate your progression with you. The Quality Control Supervisor functions as a part of the larger ‘Design Centre’ and you will work extremely closely with our Product Development, Buying, Merchandising, Supply Chain and Warehouse teams to ensure all products are fit for purpose and comply within brand impact and FA high standards.
We are one of the leading omni-channel retailers across the UK, but more than that we are a brilliant place to work. We value you and your development. We have loads of examples of people moving upwards, across to other departments and given training to excel their personal and professional skills. Our aim is to create a fun environment, where your success is paramount to ours and you are given the right tools, support and platform to achieve your goals.
We recognise and value the importance of diversity to help make sure we have lots of different perspectives when we are building products and services. We know that this will help us build useful and accessible things which our customers will love. This is great news for our business. Diversity for us is also, importantly, about building happy teams full of people that want to learn and want to be inspired by each other and our different experiences.
We review applications on an individual basis, and if we feel you would be a good fit we’ll invite you for a call or Teams video for an informal chat about the role, and to see if we’re a good fit for you.
We value open and honest conversations and collaboration, giving you a chance to learn about what we are doing in an informal and friendly environment. We want to know about you and why you feel that this is the opportunity for you.
Please note, this is not a remote role and our expectation is that you will be able to attend Head Office and Warehouse in Greater Manchester.
