Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015.
• Strong working knowledge of the Supported Accommodation (England) Regulations 2023.
• Experience in auditing, inspection or quality assessment in children's social care.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly.
• Excellent communication, report-writing and analytical skills.
• Strong commitment to safeguarding, quality and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Quality Auditor - Children's Social Care

Location: Hybrid (3 days per week onsite auditing, UK-wide travel required)

Salary: £40K

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct high-quality audits across children's homes and supported accommodation settings
• Assess compliance against regulatory frameworks and internal quality standards
• Produce clear, accurate audit reports and recommendations
• Support services in implementing improvements
• Work collaboratively with managers to drive quality, safeguarding and best practice
• Regular travel to sites across the region (3 days per week minimum onsite)

Key Requirements

• Experience in auditing, inspection or quality assessment in children's social care
