The Learning Experience in Leatherhead is seeking an experienced Nursery Room Senior to join our Leatherhead nursery. The role offers a competitive salary and a supportive, modern workplace for high-quality early years education.

Key responsibilities include planning engaging activities, ensuring EYFS-aligned care, monitoring milestones, building relationships with families, and leading staff to maintain excellence in childcare.

Qualifications

• A full & relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification – essential.
• Previous experience in an Early Years setting (ideally as a Room Leader, Nursery Practitioner, or Early Years Educator)
• Good knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and child protection
• Strong communication skills and a passion for childcare
• A commitment to delivering excellence in early years education

• Plan and deliver engaging activities tailored to children’s developmental needs
• Create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment in line with EYFS standards

Salary: Up to £31,000 per year (depending on qualifications & experience)

Contract: Full-time, permanent
