Job summary

The Learning Experience Uk in Balham, London, seeks an experienced Nursery Room Leader to join our Balham Nursery and deliver high‑quality early years education.

You will plan and deliver activities, ensure EYFS compliance, monitor milestones, and communicate with families to build strong relationships.

We offer a competitive salary up to £34,778, 22 days holiday plus bank holidays, paid overtime, staff discounts, a pension, and a supportive working environment.

Qualifications

• Full & relevant Level 3 (or higher) Early Years qualification.
• Experience in an Early Years setting, preferably as Room Leader or similar.
• Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding and child protection.
• Excellent communication and engagement with families.
• Commitment to delivering high standards of care.

Salary: Up to £34,778 per year (depending on qualifications & experience)

Contract: Full-time, permanent

Location: Balham, London

About You

We’re looking for someone with:

• Full & relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification – essential
• Previous experience in an Early Years setting (ideally as a Room Leader, Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, or Early Years Educator)
• Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and child protection
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for early childhood education
• A commitment to delivering the highest standards of care
