Job summary

The Learning Experience in Weybridge is seeking a dedicated Nursery Room Leader to guide our early years team. You will plan and deliver development activities, providing a safe, nurturing EYFS-compliant environment, and monitor milestones with families.

We value strong communication and leadership, supporting continuous professional development through funded CPD and leadership pathways in a permanent, full-time role.

Qualifications

• Level 3 or above Early Years qualification is essential.
• Experience in an Early Years setting, ideally as Room Leader or Nursery Practitioner.
• Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding and child protection.
• Excellent communication and passion for early childhood education.

Nursery Room Leader – Weybridge

This role requires a Level 2 or above qualification in Early Years

Salary: Up to £33,500 per year (depending on qualifications & experience)
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Location: Weybridge, Surrey

Your Role

As a Room Leader, You Will

• Plan and deliver activities that meet children’s developmental needs
• Provide a safe, nurturing, stimulating environment in line with EYFS standards
• Monitor, record, and celebrate milestones in children’s development
• Communicate effectively with families to build strong relationships
• Lead and support colleagues to maintain high-quality care and learning
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding and child protection policies

About You

We’re looking for someone with:

• Full & relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification – essential
• Previous experience in an Early Years setting (ideally as a Room Leader, Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, or Early Years Educator)
• Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and child protection
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for early childhood education
• A commitment to delivering the highest standards of care
