Job summary

A leading engineering consultancy is looking for a qualified QA/QC to support projects in South Wales. You will provide QA/QC support for mechanical bolting and welding, ensuring compliance with QA procedures and collaborating with engineering teams. Candidates must have at least 5 years of relevant experience and a CSWIP 3.1 Inspection certificate. Day rate is £500-550, with potential for contract extension.

Qualifications

  • Understanding of ASME B31.3.
  • Confident in using Microsoft Office.

Overview

Our client is looking for a qualified QA/QC to support two projects in South Wales. You will be site based on both projects. The work will be focused on mechanical bolting and welding. You must have experience in these areas to be considered for the role and been heavily involved in engineering and site construction.

Responsibilities
  • Provide QA/QC support on mechanical bolting and welding for two projects in South Wales.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant QA procedures and project specifications on site.
  • Review and assist with final quality assurance work packs and related documentation.
  • Collaborate with engineering and site construction teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.

Contract Details
