Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Perform first-off, in-process, and final inspections on precision-machined components.
  • Verify dimensional conformity using various measuring equipment.
  • Complete and maintain inspection reports and quality documentation.
  • Identify and generate NCRs; conduct root cause analysis.
  • Compile and present monthly quality data for improvements.
  • Participate in ISO 9001 compliance audits.
  • Collaborate with teams to drive process improvements.
  • Promote a 'Right First Time' culture.

Responsibilities
  • Perform first-off, in-process, and final inspections on precision‑machined components.
  • Verify dimensional conformity using a variety of measuring equipment, including CMM, micrometers, verniers, height gauges, and bore gauges.
  • Complete and maintain inspection reports, including PPAPs, FAIRs, and other required quality documentation.
  • Identify and generate NCRs, working with relevant departments to determine effective and timely root cause analysis.
  • Compile, analyse, and present monthly quality data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Support ISO 9001 compliance through participation in internal and external audit activities.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to drive process and product improvements.
  • Promote a “Right First Time” culture across the business.
Candidate Profile
  • Minimum of 10 years' proven QA/QC experience within a precision engineering (machine shop) environment.
  • Strong understanding of problem‑solving tools such as 8D, 5 Whys, and Ishikawa.
  • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and geometric tolerances.
  • Proficient with a range of measuring equipment, including CMM and Keyence systems.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001 standards.
