Job summary

HMH in Kintore is seeking a Document Controller on a 6‑month plus ongoing contract within the Quality Assurance team, focusing on databook preparation, material traceability, regulatory and customer compliance, vendor coordination, and documentation management.

Your role includes compiling databooks, coordinating reviews, retrieving historical records, and ensuring HSSE and regulatory compliance across documentation for customers and audits.

Qualifications

• Experience in QA/QC or manufacturing documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and document control.
• Proficient in MS Office and related documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Create and compile databooks, work packs, certificates, and supporting documentation per procedures and specs.
• Coordinate customer and third-party reviews of databooks.
• Retrieve historical manufacturing records and quality documentation from archives.
• Provide vendors with required documentation and certificates for databook compilation.
• Obtain reports for outsourced operations supporting manufacturing and servicing activities.
• Verify material traceability and regulatory compliance.
• Review RSLs and report findings to Engineering.
• Support customer requests for historical manufacturing and quality records.
• Maintain databooks and quality certification records, ensuring proper release and accessibility.
• Provide documentation status updates to stakeholders.
• Review product specifications to determine documentation requirements.
• Investigate and resolve documentation issues to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Identify documentation risks and promote standardised ways of working.
