Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems in Rotherham, UK, is seeking a Purchase Ledger Clerk to ensure accurate processing of supplier invoices and payments. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will maintain strong procurement controls, match POs to invoices, and support month-end activities while providing timely financial information.

The role requires previous purchase ledger or accounts payable experience, excellent attention to detail, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Has previous experience in a Purchase Ledger, Accounts Payable, or similar finance administration role.
• Strong attention to detail with high volume transaction processing.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills for stakeholder/supplier interactions.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ERP/finance systems; Dynamics advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices and payments accurately and on time.
• Maintain purchase ledger controls: PO–invoice matching, approvals, coding.
• Support month-end activities with reconciliations and reporting.
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers; respond to queries promptly.
• Assist with audit preparation and maintain accurate finance records.
