Job summary

Babington is seeking a Customer Engagement Consultant (BDM - Public Sector) to develop new employer partnerships across NHS organisations, local authorities, charities and education providers. This remote nationwide role focuses on public sector growth, delivering consultative workforce solutions and meeting ambitious targets.

You'll report to the Head of Customer Engagement, build senior relationships, and collaborate with internal experts to position Babington as the partner of choice for

Qualifications

• Experience in business development, sales or account management within the public sector.
• A proven ability to build relationships and create long-term partnerships.
• Experience selling into NHS, local authorities, charities or education providers.
• Track record of meeting sales targets and KPIs.
• Knowledge of apprenticeships, funded learning or workforce development.

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure new public sector customers across your region.
• Build and manage a sustainable pipeline of apprenticeship and commercial training opportunities.
• Develop trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across NHS, authorities, charities and education providers.
• Take a consultative sales approach, understanding organisational challenges and recommending workforce solutions.
• Consistently achieve new business, revenue and client acquisition targets.
• Produce compelling proposals and collaborate with internal experts to deliver presentations.
• Represent Babington at events and forums; monitor market trends to identify opportunities.
