Content Guru Limited is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager/Director to drive growth in the public sector across Health, Central Government, Local Authorities and broader public markets in the UK. The role is remote with periodic travel to client sites and partner events, including Glasgow and Bracknell offices.

You will own the full sales cycle—from identifying opportunities to closing deals—building relationships with senior public sector stakeholders and navigating procurement

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in selling to public sector organisations or similar complex procurement environments.
• Proven track record of closing complex public sector deals and managing multi-stakeholder engagements.
• Experience with government procurement processes and frameworks.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute strategic account plans within the public sector.
• Identify, qualify, and close opportunities through a structured sales process.
• Build long-term relationships with senior public sector decision-makers and influencers.
• Present tailored proposals and value-based solutions aligned to public service priorities.
• Lead or contribute to RFP responses and deal submissions within government frameworks.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and forecast pipeline effectively.
• Stay informed on procurement regulations and funding cycles relevant to public sector clients.
