Qualifications

Built by a global team of creative storytellers scattered across the globe, who meet up on occasion at Safari Parks or Roman Villas, YAP Global’s mission is to tell stories that build trust.

Our diverse portfolio of clients range from decentralised financial organisations, decentralised climate change innovators, digital asset management firms, NFT marketplaces to developer tooling platforms that will underpin the future of web3. We’ve also been media partners for some of the biggest blockchain conferences in the world, including CoinDesk’s Consensus, EthCC in France, ETHDenver and more.

Our collaborative and global team is expanding, and we are looking for an ambitious Senior Account Executive to join us.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as day-to-day support for 5-6 clients, managing both strategy and execution
  • Supporting the Account Lead to ensure KPIs are met across all clients
  • Research and write press releases, op eds, case studies and blog posts
  • Coming up with story angles to help meet the client KPIs
  • Pitching clients’ stories to strategic media outlets and key journalists
  • Ensure that the quality of deliverables are of the highest standards while meeting client requirements
  • Formulate media strategies and maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Be the liaison on behalf of clients and representation of a client with the media as and when required
  • Participate in new business process including research, proposal and pitch preparation
  • Candidate must have the right to work in the UK
  • At least 1-2 years experience or educational background in Public Relations, Communications or Journalism
  • Knowledge of the fintech, blockchain or cryptocurrency space or have genuine desire to learn about it
  • Media relationships with financial, tech and mainstream press
  • Have a track record of successfully pitching client stories to tier 1 & 2 media publications
  • Outstanding organisational, multi-tasking and time-management skills
  • Strong attention to detail: be excellent at spelling, grammar and proof-reading
  • High motivation and the ability to work independently under pressure
  • Strong news sense and a knack for storytelling
  • Flair for creativity, strategic thinking and innovation
  • Strong interpersonal skills when dealing with clients and media
  • Willing to communicate with memes
  • Experience with a range of communication platforms (Telegram, Slack, X (formerly Twitter) and Discord)
