Job summary

Greene King is seeking a Team Leader to join our Inn on the Green in Stanford-le-Hope. You will lead the team, ensure shifts run smoothly, and keep customers happy with high standards of service.

As a deputy to the management team, you’ll organise the team during busy periods, maintain a safe and compliant bar, and train staff to deliver a warm welcome and great experience for every guest.

Qualifications

• Provide customers with a heartfelt and memorable experience.
• Deputise for the management team and resolve issues.
• Help organise and coordinate the team during a busy shift.
• Ensure the bar is safe, legal, and clean, addressing issues quickly and safely.
• Speak and write English sufficiently to perform the role safely and understand allergen controls.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with a heartfelt and memorable experience each and every time they visit.
• Deputise for the management team and resolve any issues that arise in their absence.
• Help organise and coordinate the team during a busy shift, making sure everything runs like clockwork.
• Make sure the bar is always safe, legal, and clean, and any issues are dealt with as quickly and safely as possible.
