Job summary

Aneurin Bevan University Health Board in Newport is seeking a 6-month fixed-term Psychology Administrator (Band 3) to provide comprehensive administrative support within the Adult Psychology team. The post is 30 hours per week (part time) and based at St Cadoc's Hospital in Newport.

Salary is £26,813–£27,890 per annum pro rata. Welsh language ability is desirable, and excellent communication and organisational skills are essential for this NHS role.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational abilities and time management.
• Experience in administrative or secretarial work.
• Knowledge of health records functions and information governance guidelines.
• Welsh language skills are desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive administrative support to Psychology Services.
• Typing of letters, discharge summaries, and clinic correspondence within time limits.
• Ensure high standards of professionalism and effective secretarial procedures.
