Job summary

Aneurin Bevan University Health Board (ABUHB) in Newport invites applications for a Main area Admin & Clerical Band 3, 22.5 hours per week. The post is part-time with a pro rata salary of £26,813–£27,890 per annum. The role supports scheduling for surgery and cancer targets within the Surgery Division.

Qualifications

• Previous clerical experience.
• Experience in dealing with the public.
• Customer Service training.
• Evidence of computer literacy.
• Knowledge of GDPR.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritise and organise theatre and outpatient treatment lists.
• Book theatres and clinics within internal and national targets including RTT and Treat in Turn.
• Maintain an efficient telephone service and patient communications.
• Collaborate with Team Leader and clinicians to support cancer targets and patient flow.
