First Bus Ipswich Depot is seeking a PSV/HGV Mechanic with NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in vehicle maintenance to join our engineering team. The role offers a 39-hour week, rotating early shift pattern, and a £2,000 joining bonus paid across payroll and probation.

Contract: 39 hours per week - permanent & full time
Working Hours: 5 days over 7 - rotating schedule of 07:00-15:00 one week then 12:00-20:00 the next week
Hourly Rate: £21.12 per hour with a weekend premium rate of £22.19 per hour
Salary: Approx. £42,831 per annum

We are now looking for an NVQ/SVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) qualified PSV/HGV Mechanic for our First Bus Ipswich Depot – PSV or HGV mechanical experience is great however we love to hear from Light Vehicle qualified candidates and ex-Forces personnel with an engineering apprenticeship qualification, and experienced engineers from other sectors looking for a change.
