First Bus in Slough is hiring a PSV/HGV Mechanic to maintain and repair our bus fleet at the Slough Engineering Depot. The role offers a full-time, permanent contract with a 40-hour week and a competitive hourly rate.
NVQ/SVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) engineers are preferred, with PCV licence desirable and support to obtain it. Experience with buses, HGVs, and diagnostic tools is essential for success.

Contract: 40 hours per week - full time & permanent

Pay Rate: £22.77 per hour, £47,361 per annum
Do you want to be part of our dedicated team of mechanical engineers and maintenance staff repairing our fleet of buses across Slough? We are looking for NVQ/SVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) qualified Engineers – preferably with HGV or PSV experience and strong leadership qualities. We also welcome applications from ex-Forces personnel with an engineering apprenticeship qualification, and experienced engineers from other sectors looking for a change.
