JOB TITLE: Property Solicitor

PQE REQUIRED: NQ+

LOCATION: North Yorkshire

SALARY: £30,000+ (DOE)

THE ROLE:

In this role, you will manage a varied caseload across agricultural, commercial and residential property including farm and land transactions, grazing licences, commercial leases, landlord and tenant matters, development projects, residential conveyancing and general title issues such as easements and boundaries. You will provide clear, practical advice to clients in the agricultural and rural sectors whilst helping them navigate the full spectrum of property matters.

You will also play an active role in business development by building strong client relationships and supporting the ongoing growth of the team. Working closely with colleagues across the firm, you will contribute to delivering a consistently high standard of client service.

THE CANDIDATE:

The successful candidate may be newly qualified or have several years of post‑qualification experience. You will have a proven track record in handling complex transactions, strong commercial awareness and the ability to engage effectively with a diverse client base in the agricultural and rural sectors. A collaborative approach and excellent interpersonal skills will be key to building lasting client relationships and contributing to the ongoing success of the team.

Ideally, you will be local to one of the firm’s offices and comfortable managing a varied workload with accuracy and professionalism. A proactive mindset, excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently while contributing to a supportive, collaborative team are essential.
