Job summary

Argyll Community Housing Association is advertising a permanent, full-time Property Services Officer role based on the Isle of Islay. The position is 35 hours per week with a salary of £35,899 - £41,942 and requires travel across the island by car, so a valid driving licence is essential.

The role focuses on delivering repairs and maintenance to our properties and assets in line with policy. The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years’ experience in construction or social housing,

We currently have a vacancy for a Property Services Officer, based on the Isle of Islay.

The successful applicant needs to have a minimum of three higher grades or a recognised construction trade qualification.

A minimum of 5 years’ experience of working in either a construction or social housing environment along with membership of a professional or recognised trade body associated with Housing Maintenance or Construction would be an advantage.

The main purpose of this post is to deliver an effective repairs and maintenance service to properties and assets owned or managed by the Association in line with the organisation’s policies and procedures.

As the job involves travelling between various locations on the island, a full valid driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use is essential.
