Job summary

Target Housing in Rotherham is seeking a proactive Property & Maintenance Administrator to coordinate repairs, prioritise requests and allocate work to contractors, while monitoring progress and KPIs.

You will manage the maintenance inbox, assist with safety inspections and damp/mould repairs, and work closely with tenants, landlords and operatives in a small, collaborative team. Awaab's Law knowledge is beneficial and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in property maintenance or housing administration is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Awaab's Law desirable; training provided.
• Ability to manage repairs, inspections and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate repairs across the property portfolio and prioritise requests.
• Arrange appointments, access and allocate work to contractors or teams.
• Monitor progress, repair timescales and KPIs; escalate overdue works.
• Manage shared Property & Maintenance inbox and handle enquiries by phone.
• Coordinate Health & Safety inspections and actions arising from them.
• Keep tenants, landlords, contractors and colleagues updated on status.
• Support damp and mould repairs and related actions under relevant law.
