Job summary

Hundred Houses is seeking an organised Property Compliance Officer to support our Compliance and Health & Safety Manager in safeguarding over 1,500 homes across Greater Cambridge. You will manage gas, electrical, fire, asbestos, water hygiene, and lifting equipment compliance, ensuring timely inspections, servicing and remedial actions, while maintaining precise records and dashboards.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on property compliance experience in social housing or similar regulated

Qualifications

• Experience of property compliance in social housing or similar regulated environment.
• Experience with gas, electrical, fire, water, asbestos, and lifting equipment inspections/servicing.
• Ability to maintain accurate compliance records and dashboards.
• Strong data and organisational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to liaise with contractors and customers.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate compliance records and dashboards for monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
• Quality-check safety certificates for completeness and accuracy.
• Monitor programmes and due dates; coordinate with contractors for timely assessments and remedial works.
• Raise orders for remedial works and track completion; manage payments within budgets.
• Report on compliance and contractor performance against KPIs.
• Support audits with clear evidence and documentation.
• Assist customers with compliance questions and access arrangements.
• Take minutes and actions at contract meetings; help improve systems and processes.
