Job summary

Cambridge Housing Society (CHS) is recruiting for a role responsible for asset compliance across housing sites in Cambridgeshire. You will oversee fire safety, gas, electrical and legionella testing, while leading contracts and managing responsive repairs and planned programmes.

The role emphasizes safety, customer satisfaction, and embedding best practice. The successful candidate will have proven contract management experience, strong financial and building safety awareness, and excellent IT

Qualifications

• Proven track record and experience of contract management and managing areas of housing compliance.
• Strong financial, commercial and building safety awareness.
• Effective communicator, with robust problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent IT skills of Windows-based IT packages, particularly Excel.
• Sound knowledge and experience of housing management and asset databases.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full range of asset compliance including fire safety, gas, electric and legionella testing.
• Lead a team in overseeing responsive repairs and planned programmes.
• Embed best practice and risk management in housing compliance.
