Job summary

Templer HomeBuild, in partnership with Teign Housing, seeks a technically minded Property Services Coordinator to strengthen building safety and compliance.

You will inspect properties, conduct condition surveys and HHSRS assessments, and coordinate tenant permissions, Section 20 consultations and compliance cases, delivering a professional, customer-focused service. You’ll work between office, community and home to support residents and contractors.

Qualifications

• Experience in social housing, property management or related property services field, with a sound understanding of housing compliance and property legislation.
• Practical experience coordinating compliance processes and documentation in technical property settings such as property inspection, compliance, asset management or building surveying.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-first approach when working with residents, colleagues and external stakeholders.
• Enthusiasm for developing expertise in property services, building safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate key property processes including mutual exchanges, tenant permission requests, compliance no-access cases and wayleave agreements.
• Provide a professional, customer-focused compliance service from initial enquiry through to resolution.
• Work with residents, surveyors, contractors and legal partners to ensure cases meet legislative and tenancy requirements.
• Split time between office, community and home as appropriate.
