Job summary

Changing Lives is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for the Wavelength project in Newcastle Upon Tyne. You will join a team of eight, including five support workers, delivering high‑quality accommodation and wraparound support to people with complex needs.

The role offers training, reflective practice and case management reviews with the full team, and requires flexibility to cover a 24‑hour shift schedule to ensure uninterrupted support.

Qualifications

About the Service - Housing & Homelessness Services

A safe home is the solid base from which you build your life. We support people who are experiencing homelessness, or at risk of becoming homeless, as well as providing specialist accommodation and outreach services for rough sleepers, veterans, survivors of domestic abuse, women and young people.

Welcome to Wavelength located in Newcastle Upon Tyne, where we have been operating for several years. Our project is dedicated to providing accommodation for individuals with a range of complex needs. As a Support Worker you will have the opportunity to join our passionate team of 8 members, which includes a dedicated group of 5 support workers.

We are committed to delivering high-quality support, and we welcome your expertise and dedication to help us continue making a positive impact in the lives of those we serve. You will be given training on all aspects of the role as well as taking part in regular reflective practice and case management reviews with the whole team.

Our project operates on a 24-hour shift schedule; therefore, your commitment and flexibility are essential as shift times may vary to ensure uninterrupted support.
