Salary: £26,000 – £28,000

Location: Prudhoe, Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, UK

Role Type: Temp to Perm

We’re looking for a highly organised Project Support Coordinator to join our Project Management team and play a key role in keeping projects running smoothly, on time, and to standard.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on structure, enjoys working across multiple teams, and takes real pride in getting the detail right. You’ll support our Project Manager with day-to-day administration, document control, and coordination across internal teams and external partners.

What you'll be doing
Project & Team Support
  • Supporting Project Managers with day-to-day project administration and activity tracking
  • Assisting with project schedules, progress reports, meeting minutes, and action logs
  • Coordinating communication across internal teams, suppliers, and external stakeholders to help keep projects on track
Document Control & Governance
  • Setting up, maintaining, and managing document control systems in line with company and project standards
  • Managing the receipt, review, approval, storage, distribution, and retrieval of controlled documents
  • Ensuring accurate version control and maintaining audit-ready records
  • Producing document registers and status reports to support project teams and quality checks
Procurement & Records
  • Supporting procurement activities, including issuing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and updating logs
  • Maintaining project folders, records, and shared drives in line with governance and compliance requirements
What we're looking for
Essential
  • Proven experience in document control
  • Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • A confident communicator, comfortable working across multidisciplinary teams
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
Desirable
  • Understanding of project management methodologies (e.g. PRINCE2)
  • Experience supporting multiple projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of quality management systems and compliance requirements
  • Proficient in MS Projects
